Houghton Middle School LSSI Team Leader Receives Travel Grant to AMS Meeting in Phoenix

Sarah Geborkoff, LSSI Project Team Leader at Houghton Middle School has been selected to receive an American Meteorological Society (AMS) Teacher Travel Grant with full travel support, to attend the 99th American Meteorological Society Annual Meeting & Centennial Celebration in Phoenix, Arizona during the dates of 5-10 January 2019. While in Phoenix, she will have the opportunity to attend the AMS Education Symposium and other scientific sessions, visit the AMS Exhibit Hall which features nearly 100 exhibit booths, and network with other educators from across the country.
